Bored. That was the best word to describe the young husky mix. Mind numbing bored. It seemed like nothing was ever going on anymore and as much as Isoth hated to admit it he almost wished that he was back with the wolves, even if it meant putting up with that jerk of an alpha.
He sighed from his spot on the riverbank, where he had been watching the fish swim, Isoth pushed himself up into so he was sitting and thought out loud. "Well at least it was something to do." Don't get me wrong, he liked lazing around but he believed that the phrase 'to much of a good thing' fully applied here.
But the thing that was really annoying him at the moment was horrible thing know as silence, after six months of it he was ready to join the first wolf pack that came along. He snorted as he tried to picture himself doing that and it made him laugh. The black mix stared at the river lost in him own thoughts about him joining a pack.

Small fragile form moved through this new land, the snow cold on her paws. This should be interesting, hopefully she would fins something to do here. The trees around her glistened with the snow sitting lightly on their branches, oh she loved the snow. It amazed her in many ways. Grinning she Jumped up at one of the low branches pulling a lot of the snow off as she snapped her teeth on it for a moment. The snow tumbled down on top of her and she giggled playfully.
Suddenly the scent of another came to her, her ears perked and she was suddenly alert for any signs of danger. This was what her mother taught her to do, that way she wouldn't get into any trouble. Trotting towards the scent, but keeping her mind on guard she spotted the river. Curiosity took over instantly. Her paws began to carry her swiftly towards the river, until she spotted the other scent. Well he didn't look like any danger to her.
Excitement built up inside her and she ran over to the male. "Hello!" she barked to him, her tail wagging rapidly. The small pup always loved to meet others, at being only a couple months old her playful and curious nature was still there. Grinning she went down in to a playbow awaiting the male's response. Oh she hoped he would play with her, she hadn't played with another in te longest time.

Isoth jumped at the sound of the voice. He turned to look at the source of the... young voice. 'Ah, that's why.' He thought as he smiled at the little one and mimicked her playful bow, his tail wagging. "Hello, Pup!" The three year old shock his head and remembered his manners.
"My name is Isoth, what's yours?" He cocked his head to the side. "Unless you like to be called Pup." He said in a teasing tone. [[Sorry for the wait my laptop decided to break.]]

Eyes lit up as the older canine spoke, she grinned and ran around the other side of him. Oh how fun this was, she was sure he would enjoy some fun. For she knew most adults didn't get much fun as they got older. Smirking she spun around behind him and barked loudly. "No thanks, i'm Kaylie." she told him with a smile upon her muzzle. Still waiting for him to turn around she grinned.
Letting her paw smack the snow, she watched as it went in his direction, hoping to cover him in it. Laughing playfully she ran back to the front of him, her tail wagging rapidly.

The mix laughed as he tried to bit as it, only to miss and have it hit him. "Is that all you have? Kaylie?" He asked sticking his rear up in the air again. Isoth charged the pup and nudged her with his nose before turning in the other direction and loped away playfully.

Form moved swiftly but was nudged by the larger male. It was good to actually be able to play, most adults wanted nothing to do with her. So it was nice to know that he wasn't blowing her off. It would be really nice if perhaps the male would stay with Kaylie and watch after her, but she doubted it. He probably didn't want to look after and care for her.
Sighing she glared at the male and pounced towards him, her teeth aiming at his paws. Laughing she ran around him, tail wagging furiously. "So whats your name?" she asked him, her breathing heavier. Watching him curiously she laid down in the snow, her stomach moving in and out gently with her heavy breaths. Ears perked towards him as she waited patiently, her tail now curled around her side gently.

He laughed at the pup’s antics. Following her example the three year old plopped himself down in the snow with a crunch. "The name's Isoth." He answered crossing his front paws out of habit. For a moment he listened for the sound of any other dogs in the area but didn't hear any.
His curiosity got the better of him so Isoth couldn't but speak up. "What is a puppy like you doing out here with out a pack...or human?" The last part was asked uncertainly as he hoped she didn't have a human. He hated humans. Isoth thought over what he said. "Uh, never mind you don't have to answer that Kaylie." He still wanted to know the answer but decided on being polite.
