I Never Said I'd Lie And Wait Forever;; Should I? Can I? Pawprints imprinted themselves into the newly fallen snow as Naomi hummed softly through her thin lips as a shiver ran through her body. She shook a few flakes of snow off her head before pushing forward towards the huge forest. She sighed, sitting down suddenly and looking around.
Her eyes looked around curiously and suddenly a thought entered her mind; "What If A Wolf Happens To Come?" The mere thought sent a mad shiver down her postured spine as she looked around.

A large snout probed the air, drinking scent in deeply. Paws crunched lightly in the snow, which sent a thrill down the she-wolf's body. Her silver pelt shone softly in the glowing light and she blended into the shimmering snow amazingly. Her blue eyes peered through the trees and Silver Snow froze. Her scent of smell had been right, there was another canine here.
Silver Snow paused, for she didn't want the startle the stranger. She stood there, perfectly still, as the snow fell around her in a halo. For a moment she was the serene picture of the wild at winter, then her need of company muffled her thoughts. The wolf padded forward towards the canine, and realized it hadn't realized her presence yet. The wolf stopped and sat down as well, her ears pricked forward.
"Greetings," Silver Snow barked, drawing a paw over her ear. "What is your calling?"

Flicking her eyes towards the dog, a slight sigh escaped into the air with a large ring of white dust evaporating in front of Naomi's snout as she turned her head to look at them. Tufts of white flew down and settled around her body.
She shifted her timbers before realizing the question asked. "I'm Naomi, and I'm simply walking is all." She said simply, a somewhat proud tone coming to her voice and radiating out of her muzzle. She watched the canine for a moment, curiously before sighing and looking back into the forest.

((Is Naomi a dog or wolf?))
Silver Snow blinked in surprise at the hostility of the dog. She shook it off and tried to stay friendly, although she didn't care for this dog's attitude. She blinked at her with deep blue eyes filled with experience and gleaming in a feral way. Her life in the wild made her different from this close-blooded creature that resembled a wolf so much. Silver Snow replied to Naomi, "Naomi, quite a pretty name. I am Silver Snow from a pack far West from here, although I guess I'm no longer a member. What does your name mean?"
Silver Snow didn't realize this creature wouldn't know the meaning of what Silver Snow said, for it was a wolf thing from the West. By the meaning of a name, it really meant what you were in the eyes of nature. Silver Snow would've said that her name meant the beauty and danger of the cold and snow, the melody of the howl, and of course freedom of the wild. Silver Snow waited for her answer and then paused for a long time before asking, "Why, Naomi, do you dogs submit to man?"

[glow=red,2,300]"I did NOT submit." Naomi barked harshly, turning to glare at the wolf and saying harshly "All you wolves are so alike- groupers." She swished her tail and huffed out a breath. "Excuse my tone." she muttered, saying simply "But I am not belonging to any man, I am my own." She shook her body, the pelt showering flakes of snow into the air. She glanced at the wolf and grunted, before looking back to the forest.
The sun was just setting, and it cast a luminous glow to the snow and made Naomi's fur glow faintly. She glared into the harsh light as the yellows cast their rays across the region and nearly blinded her.

Silver Snow's chest rumbled a tiny bit when the dog snapped at her, she was a wolf after all, before she choked it down. The she-wolf's eyes followed the husky as she looked at the setting sun. It sent the cold sky on fire and painted it with color. This was Silver Snow's second favorite time of day and her tail wagged the slightest bit. At last she sighed, "And so where do you come from, if you are not owned by man? Or have you left?"
Silver Snow suddenly felt a strange admiration for the husky. She had always been taught that dogs were sniveling creatures that always walked in the shadow of man. Naomi was nothing like this at all. A glimmer came into the wolf's blue eyes and she rose with a snarl, "Then prove to me you are not what I've been told about dogs! Fight me! Or if you do not wish for violence, as I do, then come and let us hunt. It has been a long time since I've had someone at my side. Prove to me that man has not spoiled you!"

[shadow=red,left,300]Bang Bang.[/shadow]
[glow=red,2,300]Naomi grunted and let her eyes roll limply at the wolf that seemed to be obsessed with her dog-like ancestors. "Fine." She thought alloud, standing up and in one swift movement appearing nose to nose with the wolf. "We will hunt. But may it be known to you that being spoiled may not be so horrible- For it's kept me away from the likes of you." Her words stinged with annoyance, and her stubborn attitude finely highlighted the words.
Turning swiftly on her paws, the ruby colored husky began walking towards the forest, the sunlight gleamed through it with surprising colors. Suddenly a thought danced into Naomi's head, she was no hunter. She stopped walking, feeling her face grow hot. How would she convince this wolf she was as good as her? She couldn't hunt, she couldn't show off her speed. She looked around worriedly, letting out a sigh and glancing to the other canine "COMING?" She called, she refused to give this up. It was her nature, she was no spoiled dog, and she could prove it.. Possibly.[/glow]
